At 16, David Wiener was the youngest professional photographer shooting the America's Cup yacht races. At 18, he was represented by a New York agency and was shooting the Indy 500, US Open Tennis, and Formula One. He then turned his eye to engineering and design, becoming a prolific innovator of products, vehicles, fashion, and brands sold around the world. But he kept his cameras close, documenting his work, eventually turning his many images into modern abstracts designed to elevate automotive artwork, along with other subject matter. International exhibits, corporate commissions and private collections followed, and reinforced David's belief that car art enthusiasts wanted new ways to enjoy their passion, as his artwork around motorsports and other subjects found audiences with private and corporate collectors alike.

David's career has been defined by his contributions to the automotive industry. He has designed custom Porsches and BMWs and created a wide array of iconic vehicles, products, logos, and brands for global names such as Ferrari, Porsche, Ganassi Racing, Pirelli Porsche, 000, and many others.

David Wiener's creations reside in the private collections of Jean Todt, Michael Schumacher, Kimi Räikkönen, Sanjay Dutt, Alan Parsons, Pat Metheny, Ferrari SpA, Porsche, and the Mandarin Oriental, and are also part of everyday life through global brands such as Starbucks, The Gap, Old Navy, Disney, and others.

Park City Opera is offering an 30-minute in-home performance featuring a professional opera singer and pianist to take place at a mutually convenient time. The perfect way to end a dinner party, spruce up a book club, or gather your friends for an intimate concert experience!

Even locals may not know that Park City once had its own opera house on Main Street, which tragically burned down in 1898.

Park City Opera is proud to revive this legacy, adding opera to the cultural fabric of Park City.

Park City Opera, now entering its third season, reimagines what vocal art can be: community-driven and inspired by the spirit and natural beauty of Utah. We bring exceptional artists and enthusiastic audiences together in distinctive spaces that celebrate both music and community.

The team behind Park City Opera first joined forces in 2019 at Yale University, where Lena, Lisl, and Ben produced over twenty operas, occupying roles from singer, conductor, director, composer, stage manager, and in the most dire of times, costume designer! In the process, they discovered how to make opera thrilling, intimate, and unforgettable.

Since then, they've created with companies like Atlanta Opera, Sarasota Opera, Festival Napa Valley, Apollo's Fire, Pacific Opera Project, Opera Parallèle and more, honing their craft while dreaming of bringing something fresh to Park City. In 2024, Lena, Lisl, and Ben reunited in Utah to turn that spirit of experimentation into a homegrown company - Park City Opera.

Now, all three spend much of the year in town, inspired by its mountains, arts scene, and community. Park City Opera delivers bold, unexpected performances that connect artists and audiences, and cultivate joy.

Tracey Lane is an atmospheric landscape painter working out of The B Complex in Atlanta, Georgia. She is represented by Thomas Deans Fine Art (Atlanta), Jules Place (Boston), and Dean Day Gallery (Houston). She holds an MA in Art History from Emory University and works from her studio at The B Complex in Atlanta, Georgia.

"I believe nature is a celebration of the mystery, promise, and complexity of life. That is what I seek to capture in my work. I am interested in the experience of light and shadow, color and texture, the play between the seen and the unseen, between memory and imagination. As with all things in nature, there is a brief moment that says everything: the rapidly changing quality of light and shade in a forest, reflections moving in water, the hummingbird that suddenly appears, pauses, and then disappears. My paintings are about these ephemeral moments. My love of nature was first formed over many childhood summers spent on Jekyll Island, Georgia, where live Oaks drip Spanish moss, and marsh meets ocean. Later, walks in my family's fourteen acre forest in Tucker, Georgia taught me to appreciate pines and the understory. I work on wood panels and begin by building up layers of acrylic paint, sometimes incorporating acrylic ink, collage elements and photo transfers. I like to combine heavy, thickly applied paint with watery washes that drip randomly. As I add layers, I scratch and scrape through in places to reveal some of the original layers. I continue adding and taking away until I'm satisfied with the surface. At some point in the process, forms emerge and I can see a forest, a bird, a river, a figure. While my process is more intuitive, I am aware of how the images I choose reflect a personal history and become a metaphor for our increasing disconnection from the natural world."

Lucky the Dog is one of the most iconic and longest-running characters from the vintage Fisher-Price Little People toy line. Originally introduced in the 1960s, this beloved Dalmatian-style pup has appeared across generations of playsets.

Guy Mann was born in 1968 in Washington D.C. He attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA graduating in 1992 with a BFA in Illustration. He went on to pursue woodworking that included fine furniture making, sculpture and architectural mill work. Using various mediums current work is focused on imagery, themes and culture associated with the American West. He has been living in Utah since 1997. He is represented at TROVE Gallery in Park City.

My Raku ceramic sculpture is created from many pieces and each has a relationship to the other in order to complete the whole. Raku can be broken down into it's own components; the elements, earth, fire, water, and air and each are considered for their function, like the parts of the clock, they must work together. In working with bare surface techniques combined with Raku, I attempt to achieve an atmospheric quality, which is a balance of the reflection and absorption of light."

In pottery, Raku refers to a rapid, low-temperature firing process where glowing-hot ceramics are removed from a kiln and plunged into containers of combustible materials (like sawdust or leaves). This lack of oxygen causes dramatic chemical reactions, resulting in unique metallic sheens, vibrant colors, and distinct crackle patterns.

The term literally means "pleasure," "comfort," or "happiness" in Japanese, originating from a dynasty of 16th-century potters in Kyoto who made hand-shaped bowls for the Japanese tea ceremony.
